Founded in 1963 but transferred to the Tallo family in 1996, it has maintained its charm and family-oriented nature. It's the perfect place to be blasted to the past with your besties or for date night! Grab a dessert or an app to share with your friends.
Lee's has one of the best banana splits in Hammond, one of the top-selling desserts! The banana split has been around since 1904 and is a classic dessert! It's a sweet tooth cure with ice cream, fruit, chocolate, and nuts. It's the perfect shareable size, too!
The customer service I experienced at Lee's was top-tier. The staff makes sure to make everyone feel like family from the minute you walk in. Their smiling faces and friendly attitudes make the whole dining experience worth it. Laughter fills the restaurant as there are no TVs to distract from conversing with each other.
My personal favorite dessert from Lee's is the Nectar Soda. It's a beautiful blend of ice cream, nectar syrup (made in-house), soda water, whipped cream, and a cherry! Nectar sodas are another very popular dessert because most places no longer make them!

Another fantastic part of Lee's is the breakfast. It's all prepared from scratch at 5 a.m. before they open! The menu is Star Wars-themed, a different twist you can't find everywhere. It ranges from biscuits to pancakes, eggs and bacon, and, of course, French toast. My favorite is the Sky Walker, a chicken-fried steak with white gravy, eggs, hashbrowns, and a biscuit with a pancake on the side!
